History and Origin

The Vineyard Ministers, founded in 2018, originated as an evangelistic group from the Mount Kenya Station Adventist Youth under the Central Kenya Conference. This organization, born out of a circle of friends, sought to spread the Christian message through music. Their efforts were deeply rooted in the desire to reach out and impact lives through harmonious melodies and spiritual songs. As the group evolved, the East Kenya Union Youth Group emerged due to logistical challenges faced by some members. This new faction focused on conducting Bible studies and counseling sessions, effectively guiding participants in their spiritual journeys. The professional handling of these sessions led to a few individuals embracing the Christian faith, showcasing the transformative power of their teachings.

In early 2019, a subset of the East Kenya Union group formed a dedicated singing ensemble named the Vineyard Ministers Nyeri. With a starting membership of fifteen, their primary mission was to evangelize both within and beyond the Mount Kenya region through music. Their dedication to this cause reflected their commitment to reaching lost souls, creating a blend of fellowship and faith that resonated deeply within their community.
